Thanks for the encouragement and tips. English is very easy too; it’s all about practice. I see that while signing off you wrote “salam” in Arabic but without any fatha (correct term)? I’m guessing when pronunciation is “aa”, I don’t need to use it but maybe I do for damma and kasra……just guessing. I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it with practice.

I hope you learn Arabic soon and I hope to speak English well soon too
As Arabic speaker I can say Arabic is easy to speak but hard to write and read you can say the Arabic grammar is the thing makes Arabic difficult so you can skip this part no one needs grammar to speak Arabic on the contrary if you use it that will be a comedy act. my advice to you to learn the Egyptian dialect because it’s the most common and the easiest. You can listen to NileTV channel over the internet and maybe you will find Arabic movies with English subtitles.

Yes, it’s hard when I’ve a sweet tooth and am crazy about chocolate. The best solutions for me was to eat in moderation and exercise regularly. Nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it. I’ve 7 more lbs to loose and then moderate chocolate eating may be allowed.
