Accident: I-85

I just saw the accident on I-85. Every time I learn of an accident I freak out, if I know anyone in those areas. I called a few friends who travel that highway and was relieved to know they are OK. I left a few voice messages with those who didn’t pick up their phones. [...]

I strongly believe people have the right to choose their own religion or faith, even if that means they have none. Or, as they call themselves: atheist or agnostic. In Singapore we call them “free thinkers”. I don’t have problems with any groups, no matter what they choose. However, I do have problems with “missionaries” [...]

Dedication

I dedicate Misery by The Beatles to Palestinians and Tibetans, the only two people who cannot call a country their home. Since The Beatles were one of our favorite, here is to my Tibetan friends, in particular. I’m in solidarity with them in spirit.

Last night I watched the conclusion of Celebrity Apprentice. I’m not a fan of reality shows but for this episode, I was curious to see which contestant would win. I wanted to see if Donald Trump would pick likability over efficiency at work.
Since I didn’t follow all the episodes, I concluded it was Piers’ strength [...]

It’s old news, but….
In her recent meeting with Dalai Lama, Pelosi said “we have lost all moral authority to speak on behalf of human rights anywhere in the world“, if we don’t speak out against China’s oppression towards Tibet. I agree, Pelosi lost her moral authority. She lost them when she supported an immoral war [...]

I don’t think so. I was caught in traffic which resulted in my being late for the early morning meeting. This is the third time a colleague waited for me and gave up after half an hour. He didn’t have the luxury to wait; he had another meeting.
Someone is very unhappy with me this morning, [...]
